After a hectic & more often than not indulgent summer if you're looking to getaway and give your body the loving it needs then you've landed on the right page. CORE strongly believes in taking much-needed breaks to rejuvenate your body, mind & soul, so we have put together a list of our favourite wellness retreats from across the world.

  • Vana, Dehradun

"Vana almost seems a contradiction – a forest touching it on one side, nestled between the city of Dehradun and the hill-station of Mussoorie. Over the years, the outside world has crept nearer to our 20-acre Retreat, and yet just inside its boundaries, one enters a different world. The Retreat’s neutral coloured walls are seen amidst its trees and orchards, with pebbled paths and stone walls cutting through, bamboo gently swaying in places. Vana’s spaces are sometimes vast but always humble, seeking to evoke a sense of wellbeing. Held together by its skilful team, the experiences at Vana reflect its sincere intentions and generosity. Trees, plants, birds, monkeys, butterflies and insects all coexist in peace at Vana." says the Life at Vana section & from what we've heard, read & seen Vana seems to live up to it's hype. We never shy away from recommending a good self-care splurge. The Vana Wellness package looks like the perfect treat, so get packing & go solo, with your significant other or a friend.

  • Amanera, Playa Grande - Dominican Republic

Okay, lets face it. I have been a sucker for all things Aman ever since I stumbled upon one of their properties. There is something so tranquil about their spaces, the architecture, the minimalism... all captured so perfectly through a soft yet clean aesthetic. The space that you're in always influences your mood & their properties always radiate a calm, relaxing vibe. The beachfront yoga session at sunrise sounds ideal

  • Aro Hā - New Zealand

Located by the exquisite Southern Alps in New Zealand Aro Hā looks like a minimalistic luxury retreat. They have Hydrotherapy spas that look out to the mountains & a yoga studio that has panoramic views of the pristine Lake Wakatipu. They say that they've "merged ancient traditions with modern technology to become an industry-leading example of earth-friendly design. From our organic produce grown onsite and stored in ambient, earth-cooled cellars, to our state-of-the-art solar and hydro energy system, each wellness journey leaves no trace" guilt free getaways done best.

  • Ananda Spa - Himalayas, India

With over 10 wellness packages, Ananda gives you an abundance of options to choose from. Located in the foothills of Himalaya in the midst of Haridwar & Rishikesh, two of the oldest mythological cities surrounded by the Sal forests. I was particularly interested in hypnotherapy, Bob Lazar got us hooked after watching the Area 51 documentary. Riling back in though, Ananda is known for it's traditional wellness regimes of Ayurveda, Yoga & Vedanta (more commonly knows as the Vedas). A getaway to take you back to the roots of our existence, a much needed spiritual journey we'd say.

    • Bawah Reserve

      The Anambas Archipelago,

The story behind Bawah is something CORE truly believes in, an island paradise occupied in order to rescue it & see it thrive. Bawah was created with the idea for it to exist as an ecological utopia. Designed by Singapore architect Sim Boon Yang, the reserve is made with sustainable & recycled materials. Want a lazy, pristine beachside getaway? Give yourself some peace of mind and request a reservation ASAP to enjoy the 6 islands. They have now been declared as a marine conservation area. It's untouched luxury.
